I have had Claire as my personal trainer now for two years.  I rejoined a gym whilst Claire was working there and signed up for personal training sessions twice a week and during this time I have gone from a size 18/20 to a size 12/14.  I was two stone overweight when I joined the gym and now I am at target and have been since March 2006. I also attend Slimming World and the two combined have worked for me.  Having a personal trainer is the best thing I have ever done, it gives me the motivation that I can be lacking when I go down to the gym and work out on my own.

When you are at the gym it is too easy to not complete as much of a workout as you do when you with a personal trainer.  I still go to the gym as well as the two sessions a week I have with Claire.  Depending on what you want to achieve from your training will dictate to you how often you want to work out.  Twice with Claire and at least once at the gym is great for me. A personal trainer is there for you, “in your face” as we might say, motivating you and giving you all the encouragement you need to achieve.

I will never look back -  it was the best decision I ever made and I intend to carry on for as long as I can – Claire has made me achieve things that I know where not possible if I had continued on my own. I used to be lucky if I could achieve 10 minutes on the treadmill jogging/running without getting stitch and giving up – now I can use the treadmill for 40-45 minutes and go running outdoors for 40-45 minutes which is a major achievement for me!

Claire has been my personal trainer for over two years.

Personally I have no wish to run marathons (or even half marathons for that matter!!) Yet Claire makes me feel that i am as important to her as the more serious athletes.

With her help my self confidence has increased, along with my improved fitness levels and we work continuously to maintain this improvement.
